Animal vocabulary and listening lessons

Review the animal names together. Prepare clues that have one clear answer in your chosen word list.

How to play

  1. 1

Give learners a card and explain the target pattern.

  2. 2

Call an animal or give a clue, such as an animal with a trunk. Record Elephant as the call, rather than the clue.

  3. 3

When someone calls Bingo, ask them to read the marked animals and check the call record.

Make it work for your group
Avoid clues that fit several animals. Replace unfamiliar species before printing.
